Semple Mansion Reception (sublet) 12/27/08

I have reserved and paid for reception at this lovely venue on 12/27/2008. The plans have changed, but the contract is no-refund and fully-paid. I am looking to sublet the space for that evening. I have already secured permission to do so. The venue coordinator will treat this as though it was your wedding or event, just that the new contract will be through me.

If you had looked at booking this venue this year, but weren't able to, now is your chance to have a wonderful Christmas-time wedding or event at the Semple Mansion.

You will be signing a contract with me to use the space, but all the same rules apply as are in my contract. The normal rate is $4,400 rental; I will discount the price to $4,000, a whole 10% for free!!!

Renting a mansion for reception in August

I have been engaged for over a year and half and we just decided our wedding date and it is in six months. I want to rent a mansion to have our reception in. Any ideas or directions on where to start looking? Thank you!!!!

Need to find a ceremony and reception site

I had my ceremony planned to happen at a park but they are doing construction during the season of my wedding and so I am looking for a new place but really havent found anything that I like and can afford. And for a reception I have one but if the ceremony is going to change I might have to change the reception site too. So if anyone knows of something that could work please let me know ASAP. Thanks a bunch!!

Bachelorette party location ideas?

I live in St. Cloud, but we are having the bachelorette party in the cities- does anyone have any good ideas for restaraunts or locations for a bachelorette party for about 25?

Any reception halls NOT req. caterer?

Are there any reasonably prices reception halls within the twin cities area, or even the south metro area, that do NOT require their own caterer or baker??? I don't have 4,000 to spend on food and my family and I wanted to have our ethnic food instead. I've called 20 places and they all require their caterers and a licensed baker. Does anyone have any ideas???
